For nearly 40 years jazz guitarist Louis Stewart has built a reputation as a class act - a world class act according to some.
Inspired by the recordings of Barney Kessell, he taught himself to play and became good enough to play with the likes of Tubby Hayes, Benny Goodman, Ronnie Scott and George Shearing.
Lately, Louis Stewart has been sitting in with the Frank Harrison Trio (piano, bass and drums). This quartet will be playing Halifax's Dean Clough tonight, starting at 8pm.
On Friday, March 2, veteran US composer and pianist Jack Reilly brings his trio (piano, drums and bass) to the venue. He rarely plays outside London and so this will be an opportunity to witness another class act in action.
