A chamber concert in aid of Wharfedale Amnesty is being held in Ilkley next week.

The show features the Chamber Players, who have performed around the world. Their programmes include entertaining introductions to each piece - and a free CD for each member of the audience.

On the bill is violinist Susanna Candlin, sub leader of the London Mozart Players, who has led, directed and played concertos all over the UK and overseas; Tom Dunn, who has played the viola around the world, but says he's nowhere happier than in his native Yorkshire; cellist Sarah Butcher, a member of the London Mozart Players who has also played with the BBC Symphony Orchestra; pianist Daniel Tong, whose group the London Bridge Ensemble has played around the country; and double bass player Stacey Watton, principal bass with a number of orchestras.

The chamber concert is at St Margaret's Church, Ilkley, on Thursday at 7.30pm. For tickets ring (01943) 817588 or (01943) 6000612.
