Pyschic medium Colin Fry is coming to Bradford next week.

Colin, who shot to fame on Living TV’s popular 6ixth Sense, has been conducting private clairvoyancy sittings and performing public demonstrations since he was 17. He’s a trained bereavement counsellor and the head of the International College of Spiritual Science and Healing in Sweden where he teaches psychic skills and positive thinking.

Colin’s aim is to comfort “those who need to hear or understand that a friend or loved one still exists.”

He says incidents throughout his childhood convinced him he was different from other children.

“When I was ten, I was walking home from school and an ambulance went by. I suddenly heard the voice of my grandfather, who’d died the previous year, telling me to run home as the ambulance was for my mother.

“When I got home, the ambulance was there and Mum had fallen down the stairs,” he says. “My maternal great-grandmother was a medium – she was arrested in 1850 for reading tea leaves!”

Aged 15, Colin joined a spiritualist ‘development circle’ and was encouraged to use his medium skills to help others.

Colin made his name on the spiritualist circuit before going professional. He became a hit presenting 6ixth Sense – which saw Colin as a communicative channel between the spirit world and his audience – and today he’s in demand across the world as a medium, psychic and healer.

“I’ve travelled the world and one thing that’s universal is the comfort I bring to people to know there’s something on the other side.

“I was at an airport recently, and a woman came up and said she’d lost her mother and if she hadn’t watched me on TV she’d have gone mad. It’s times like that when you know it’s all worthwhile.”

His work with the police led to two series of Psychic Private Eyes. The second series is currently on air on Zone Reality (Sky Channel 146). Colin also works overseas. His ‘Happy Medium’ tour in New Zealand was turned into a TV series.

  • An Evening of Clairvoyance with Colin Fry is at St George’s Hall next Tuesday. For tickets ring (01274) 432000.
