CHART topping singer Alexandra Burke will open The Broadway Shopping Centre in three weeks' time.
The star, who shot to fame after winning The X Factor, will cut the ribbon for the centre at 10am on Thursday November 5, when she will be joined by local community heroes and civic dignitaries.
More than 300 people will be given exclusive access to the centre two hours before opening for a VIP viewing and performance by Burke and Bradford locals could be in with a chance of winning tickets over the next few weeks.
Earlier this summer Burke came to Bradford to star in The Bodyguard at the Alhambra Theatre.
The centre's launch will kick off a weekend of activities at The Broadway.
Alexandra Burke said: “It’s an honour to be invited up to Bradford to open The Broadway shopping centre. I look forward to meeting the people of Bradford and cutting the ribbon on opening day and also maybe doing a little shopping.”
