LESS than a week after Bingley Music Live 2015 wowed crowds of 15,000 people, tickets are already on sale next year's last party of the summer.

Fans at the Bradford Council-run festival, held at Myrtle Park Bingley, were delighted by headline acts James, Labrinth, Superfurry Animals and Idlewild, plus a host of big name supporting acts, up-and-coming local bands and Radio 1 DJs Scott Mills and Huw Stephens.

Even the acts themselves have posted on Twitter about how much they enjoyed their Bingley experience.

Ash frontman Tim Wheeler tweeted: "Last festival of the summer at Bingley Live was a blast on Saturday."

Tim Booth, lead singer with James, wrote: "Loved Bingley. We heard the crowd singing backstage, heard the party. Saul chose 'Tomorrow' to open the set to meet the fierce energy."

Limited edition early bird tickets for BML 2016 are now on sale for £45 plus booking and transaction fees. The 2016 festival will run on September 2, 3 and 4. Details on how to buy tickets appear on at www.bingleymusiclive.com.

Councillor Imran Khan, the council's executive member for environment and sport, said: "This year's event has been a runaway success.

"We have received a great deal of positive feedback from people saying what a great weekend they had. We aim to have another fantastic festival for 2016, so anyone wishing to plan ahead can buy next year's tickets now."
