JUGGLING balls, streamers and tie-dye bunting were some of the treasures made at a Bradford Council run morning of fun at Wycliffe Gardens, in Shipley.

The Council's Play Team from Early Childhood Services has been organising the successful sessions throughout the summer and this week moves on to different daily locations, said team member Katie Mathers.

Sessions will be in Wrose tomorrow, Keighley on Thursday and Allerton on Friday.

Families and children are all welcome at the free sessions and there are always enough staff to cater for however many youngsters turn up, Ms Mathers said.

Bradford Council has an active policy of encouraging and enabling children across the district to get out and play.

Its strategy, called All to Play For, states: "All children and young people are able to access a variety of high quality inclusive play opportunities, which support and contribute to the Children and Young People’s Plan priorities for children, young people, families and communities in the district".
