Estampas Porteñas - "Argentina's hottest dance company" it says on their press blurb - brings their sizzling show, Tango Fire to the UK direct from Buenos Aires.
The show features ten dancers accompanied by Argentine singer Javier do Ciriaco and a quartet of young musicians called Quatrotango.
First seen in the UK at the Edinburgh Festival in 2005 and 2006, Tango Fire, right, is a journey through the history of the seductive dance form.
Period duets evoke the glitter and danger of the barrios where the tango was born, and the heady nostalgia of the early dance halls where it was popularised, while the group's modern choreography is edged with the sharpness and sophistication of contemporary Argentina.
Estampas Porteñas was established by celebrated ballerina and choreographer Carolina Soler.
Quatrotango combine the nostalgic tradition of tango with a contemporary cutting edge, blending the traditional instruments of tango: bandoneón, piano, violin and double bass.
