Yorkshire experimental performance artist Victoria Pratt premieres her new work, SILICA, in Bradford this month.
The production is the latest commission for Development Lab at Theatre In The Mill.
Part-performance, part-installation, SILICA uses state-of-the-art technology to explore universal themes of time, memory and loss.
Haunting and beautiful, it combines live performance, sculptural installation, digital and 8mm film and an original soundscore to create a surreal world of shape-shifting, nostalgia and displaced time.
This theatre installation is created and performed by Victoria, and collaborators include digital artist Ben Eaton, lighting designer Azusa Ono and composer Heather Fenoughty, all experts in the field of performance installation.
SILICA is at Theatre In The Mill from May 27 to 29. For tickets ring (01274) 233200.
