SIR - Hold on tight everyone, the Brexit rollercoaster is about to start its journey in earnest.
Finally, the lunatics currently in charge of the asylum have got their way and have carte blanche to do their worst without any real scrutiny of the negotiating tactics or the deal that they sign up to.
“No deal better than a bad deal’’? A worrying statement to say the least!
“We will get the best deal available for the UK’’? Optimistic to say the least!
‘’They need us more than we need them’’? Er, no they don’t!
David Davis is a half- competent politician at best but not a seasoned negotiator.
Theresa May is a wannabe Thatcher, and not even very good at that impersonation.
As for Boris Johnson (above) and Liam Fox, please keep them as far as humanly possible from any negotiations.
Once again, hold tight everyone, it’s going to be a very long, very bumpy ride into the unknown and I suspect that we will get no favours from the EU in their determination to dissuade the remaining members from taking the same path.
