Welcome back to the T&A's Review of the Year 2017, where we take a month-by-month look back at what made the news in Bradford through what's been very busy year.
We'll be posting two months worth each day from now until New Year's Eve, with a full rundown of the year's most read stories on New Year's Day.
Without further ado, here's a flavour of what you were reading in November...
Christmas comes early at light switch-on
Bradford was the first city in the UK to turn on its Christmas lights with a switch-on ceremony on the 4th of November.
It beat Manchester to the honour by an hour.
But 66% of T&A readers in our online poll thought it was too early!
Man says he has lost everything after firework attack on home
Despite firefighters' pleas for Bonfire Night to pass without incident, a man had his home wrecked by a fire that started when a lit firework was shoved through his letterbox.
Saeed Rehman, 55, said the thugs have made his life a misery after they ruined his terraced house in Northampton Street, Undercliffe, Bradford.
The attackers wedged a lit firework in his letterbox at the back of the house which exploded onto the far wall of his living room, setting fire to a green two-person sofa and which spread to the rest of the room, causing huge damage.
'Explosion' heard as raiders attack supermarket cash machine
It is thought an explosive device was used in a raid which has caused major damage to the Co-op store in Cullingworth.
Police said while there were no injuries, the incident could "quite easily have caused serious injury or death".
The store was cordoned off by police while work was carried out to make the building safe.
Labour removes council hopeful from shortlist over Facebook comments
The Labour Party removed a potential election candidate after her previous comments about Jews sparked a furore.
But critics said questions remain unanswered about how former Respect activist Nasreen Khan came to be shortlisted for political office in the first place.
Ms Khan, who had been shortlisted by the party to contest the safe Little Horton seat on Bradford Council, had apologised over the comments she made on Facebook five years ago, which she said were “inappropriate and unacceptable”.
City centre lighting scheme beats London's Oxford Street to be named best in the country
St Blaise Square, next to Forster Square rail station, was named Outdoor Lighting Project of the Year at the Lux Awards - which recognises major lighting projects.
It was up against thought competition in its category - not only beating the London street, which has become a tourist attraction due to its Christmas lights, but also Nottingham’s Biocity and the Vicarage Gate House in the Kensington area of the capital.
