Telegraph & Argus readers are being given the chance to show off their photography skills by joining the new T&A Camera Club.

We know we have some talented amateur photographers among our readers, and with so much to photograph across the district - from beautiful countryside to colourful city events - we'd love to see what Bradford looks like through your lens.

A new Facebook group has been set up to bring together like-minded snappers and enable everyone to share and talk about their latest pictures.

The group is for everyone from seasoned amateurs to budding new photographers, whether you've got all the latest kit or just an eye for taking a fantastic picture on your smartphone.

Bradford Telegraph and Argus:

We'd love to see your pictures capturing life in Bradford and anything eye-catching you might see while out and about in the district.

Send your snaps of everything from community events large or small, new angles on familiar places or even breaking news if you find yourself in the middle of the action.

Telegraph & Argus photographic manager Mike Simmonds will be part of the team overseeing the Camera Club, giving feedback on members' work and setting regular photography challenges.

He said: "Bradford is such a great place to photograph. There's always something to capture, from the district's many parks and beautiful countryside, to the busy city centre with its vibrant events and historic buildings."

"I can't wait to see the members' pictures and the ideas our readers have for capturing a new angle on our brilliant city."

If you're someone looking to build up a portfolio of published work, or just want your work to be seen, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

There will be regular slots for members' pictures to appear both in print and online galleries and we look forward to seeing all your fantastic shots.
