DOZENS of international students at the University of Bradford were invited to experience some Yorkshire hospitality at a civic reception in City Hall.

Deputy Lord Mayor Doreen Lee welcomed the students to the annual event, which was held in the hall's grand Banqueting suite.

The receptions are held every year as a way of both celebrating Bradford's diversity, and showing students from across the world the landmark civic building.

The university is regularly named one of the most "international" higher education providers in the country, and around 15 per cent of students come from abroad. It is estimated that students from 150 different countries currently attend the university.
