A BRADFORD nursery makes sure pupils get a “smooth start” to their education, according to Ofsted inspectors.

Daisy Chain Nursery on Pearson Lane was given a good rating in all areas by the inspection body in the newly published report.

The report, written after a visit last month, says staff form a “strong and effective team” and “children achieve well in all aspects of their learning and development.

“Children are well behaved. They learn to be considerate towards others.

“Staff build good relationships with all staff, contributing to the smooth start that children make to their educational experiences. Children make good progress in their communication and literary skills.”

The nursery, which has 65 two, three and four-year-old children on its rolls, was also rated good in its last Ofsted inspection, in 2013.
