Today marked a special day for children at a Little Horton nursery as a celebration was held to mark their graduation.
Proud parents looked on during the sweet celebration, which was organised for children who are leaving Russell Street Nursery to start primary school.
They even wore caps and gowns to make the day all the more memorable.
The Lord Mayor of Bradford, councillor Abid Hussain, also attended and presented the event.
Nursery director Margaret Papworth said: “The children loved it. We had music playing, the parents came and the children got a certificate and present.
“It’s just a real celebration for them - and the weather has been lovely.”
She added: “We have great aspirations for them, we want them to achieve and we think we are building the foundations. We hope to see them graduating from university.”
The nursery made a donation to the Lord Mayor’s Appeal.
Children also presented him with flowers for Mayoress Shahnaz Akhtar, who could not attend the celebration.
