HUNDREDS of children from schools across the district have enjoyed hearing from top authors as part of Bradford Literature Festival.

As well as the events for adults, many of which had sold out, the festival has included a school programme, and on Monday pupils attended a Myth and Fairy Tale session featuring children’s authors at the University of Bradford.

Speakers at the event included Vivian French, who discussed how fairy tales are made, Lari Don, Kirsty Logan and Richard O’Neill, who took part in Roma Storytelling sessions with the children.

The festival runs until Sunday.
