A PRE School has been praised for the way it helps “children to grow in confidence and feel valued.”
Cottingley Pre School, based in Cottingley Town Hall, was visited by Ofsted inspectors late last month, and in a newly released inspection report the school has been rated as “good” in every category.
The pre school has 28 children on its roll, and provides funded early education for two-, three- and four-year-old children. It was also given a good rating at its last inspection in 2015.
Inspectors said: “Staff are kind and encouraging, helping children to grow in confidence and feel valued. Children are happy and well settled.
“The manager and staff establish good partnerships with other professionals, agencies and local schools.
“Parents think highly of the pre-school. They find the staff friendly and supportive and speak very positively of how children really enjoy coming and how quickly they settle.”
