CHILDREN across the district are celebrating the love of reading by taking part in World Book Day today.
Schools and nurseries have been sent packs of book tokens and youngsters and teachers will be getting dressed up as their favourite characters.
Councillor Imran Khan (pictured), Bradford Council’s executive member for education, said: “We hope that World Book Day celebrated in schools creates readers for the future by igniting a love of books and reading in children and young people.”
