Bradford Cancer Support volunteer Mavis Horsfall and her friends are organising a gala evening in support of the charity. The event takes place on Thursday, October, 16 at Fairweather Green working men’s club on Thornton Old Road, Bradford from 7pm.
Five acts are supporting the event and will entertain throughout the evening. Entrance is free and everyone is welcome. A pie and pea supper is also available.
Linda Enderby, Bradford Cancer Support fundraising co-ordinator, said: “Mavis has worked hard with her friends and members of the club’s committee, on this event. “It’s going to be non-stop entertainment and I’m sure it will be a great night out. Mavis is a volunteer driver and the money raised from the event will help to cover the fuel costs of our free transport service”.
