    Bradford fire tribute

The Valley Parade fire disaster will be remembered on the other side of the world by a junior club in New Zealand.

A minute's silence will be held on Saturday for six teams, ranging from five to 12-year-olds, at the Russell sports club in Bay of Islands.

Committee member Mark Billington said: "I, like many thousands of other Bradfordians, was at the game in 1985 and would like to let the families of the victims know that even from the other side of the world our thoughts are with you."
