Junior Witter will defend his WBC light welterweight world crown against mandatory contender Timothy Bradley in Nottingham on Saturday, May 10.

Witter will face the 21-0 American, nicknamed Desert Storm, live on ITV.

It will be his first fight since he smashed Vivian Harris inside seven rounds last September.

The Bradford fighter should have faced Demetrius Hopkins in California a week ago but his opponent pulled out.
