Firefighters were called to tackle a car fire in Meadow Road, Apperley Bridge.
A crew from Idle put out the blazing Renault Clio at 11.30pm yesterday Thurs.
Crews spent 30 minutes preventing the fire, which left the car badly damaged, from spreading to neighbouring residential properties.
