Premises searched in hunt for prisoners

Police have been searching premises in Bradford in the hunt for two criminals who walked out of an open prison.
Richard Geary, 43, of Keighley and Lee Steeples, 31, of Wakefield, absconded from HMP Sudbury, Derbyshire, on March 19.
A manhunt was last night continuing for the pair who escaped from the low security prison.
Following a request by Derbyshire Police, officers in West Yorkshire have searched at least one premises in the Bradford area.
A spokesman for the Derbyshire force said: "We have informed relevant police forces that these men have absconded from prison.
"Those forces have carried out address checks on our behalf and the men's details and photographs have been circulated to all forces in the country."
Geary, described as a prolific burglar and former drug addict, was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court on February 16 last year to three and a half years in jail for burglaries.
He has a string of previous offences including more than 40 for burglary and other related offences.

In 2005 Geary was sentenced to a two year drug treatment programme by Bradford Recorder Deborah Sherwin having been arrested for burglary while on bail. The sentence related to a burglary in Skipton in October 2004 when Geary was on bail for a previous burglary.
Geary is described as 43 years old, 6ft 1in tall, slim, with short brown straight hair, blue eyes and a Yorkshire accent. He has numerous tattoos and an inch-long scar on the top of his nose. His last known address was in Keighley.
Steeples was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court in November 2004 to six and a half years for drug offences.
He is described as white, 31 years old, 5ft 9ins tall and of medium build. He has short dark brown straight hair, brown eyes and a Yorkshire accent. He also has numerous tattoos. His last known address was in Wakefield.
More than 600 inmates have walked out of HMP Sudbury in the last decade.
Derbyshire Police have appealed for anyone with any information about the whereabouts of either man to contact them.
Members of the public are advised not to approach either man if they do see them but to immediately contact their local police station or Crimestoppers anonymously 0800 555 111.
