    McCall excited by Darlo trip

Stuart McCall reckons Saturday's daunting trip to Darlington is an ideal test for City.

The Quakers have been going well as they chase Hereford for the third automatic promotion slot.

But that is just the type of challenge McCall, pictured, believes his team should relish at this stage of the season.

A four-point Easter haul has boosted confidence and the City chief said: "It's a good game to look forward to.

"The pressure is on Darlington because they are right up there in the table and they are the home side. But our away form has been decent and I think we can get something.

"I've got a bit of a selection problem with different people coming in for the Chesterfield game on Monday. But it's a good one to have."

McCall made four changes at Rotherham last weekend and another three two days later. But that was always going to be the plan regardless of the results.

"You look at all the scientific facts and it is difficult for people to produce the same energy levels playing two games in three days."

City fans have been warned to allow extra travelling time on Saturday because of parking restrictions.

With Darlington expecting a big crowd because of the size of the away following, supporters are being asked to use the shuttle buses that run from Tubwell Row in the town centre to the ground every half an hour.

Fans going by car are asked to car share where possible and if driving to the ground to arrive at least an hour before kick-off.

Darlington commercial director Grahame McDonnell said: "We want to remind fans that parking around the stadium is strictly for residents and is closely monitored by the local authority and police."

It might be big, plastic, shiny and new but it doesn't make it decent. Totally soulless and empty stadium. You can't beat real old-fashioned grounds like Accrington Stanley on New Year's Day, or Shrewsbury's Gay Meadow, unfortunately the daft buggers moved to another new shiny, soulless ground.

So which dimwit at Darlington built a new out of town stadium with no chuffing parking.
We have to drive nearly past the ground, into town to park, block up the town centre and get a bus out. That makes sense!!!!!

AT THE RISK OF BEING CRUCIFIED BY ALL OUR SUPPORTERS WHO POST COMMENTS ON THESE MESSAGE BOARDS I AM REPEATING THE UNDERSTATED COMMENTS!!!!

There is an outside chance of a 'Play Off' slot by the last match of the Season at Wycombe(A)?!.(NO WAY! I HEAR YOU SAY)

We have matches against opposition that are going for 'Play Off' slots.

    For example:- Chesterfield(H)(Won)

    . Darlington(A) Rochdale(A)Morecambe

    (H) Grimsby(H) M K DONS(H)

'ALL OF THE AFORE MENTIONED CLUBS, ARE IN CONTENTION FOR 'PLAY OFFS' and promotion'

IF we could get results agaist these Clubs, they are all "6 POINTERS"(could we win them?.)

It would be great if we could get further points, against Barnet (H), and Brentford(A).

It is a long shot- outside chance, but I want to go to that fabulous stadium Wembley again!(THIS SEASON or NEXT??).

Now this is totally contradictory, to my previous predictions post. No doubt I will be derided, for even thinking in this POSITIVE manner.

I wonder if we could achieve this target with the HELP of our GENUINE Supporters.

IF WE ENCOURAGE OUR TEAM,TO GET WIN RESULTS. THEN THIS FORECAST WOULD BEGIN TO GAIN CREDIBILITY?!!

    DO NOT, REPEAT-NOT, DERIDE/SLAG OFF/ OUR TEAM.

CONSTANT BACKING AND ENCOURAGEMENT WILL BOOST THEIR CONFIDENCE ENORMOUSLY. DO NOT SHOUT OUT NEGATIVE OFFENSIVE REMARKS, AT THE PLAYERS. THAT WILL CAUSE THEM TO FAIL, AND LOSE THESE IMPORTANT TURNING POINT MATCHES!.

If a player makes an error during the match, how are you SUPPORTING him, by shouting abuse. IS THAT SUPPORTING YOUR TEAM?.

To those who started chanting 'STUART McCALL'S BRADFORD ARMY!' Well done to ALL of you. That is the way to support, encourage, and BOOST the teams' confidence, to go on and WIN THE MATCH.
CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL,FOR YOUR BRILLIANT CONTRIBUTION TO HELP WIN THAT MATCH.

I HOPE THE TRAVELLING 'BRADFORD ARMY', WILL GET US THE WIN RESULT NEEDED TO KEEP THE OUTSIDE CHANCE FOR 'PLAY OFFS'FORECAST'ALIVE'
    !

The players have got it all on, to maintain concentration and stay focussed, throughout the whole of the game.

Only those who have played football will apreciate these comments.

IT IS REALLY UPLIFTING AND CONFIDENCE BOOSTING, TO HEAR SHOUTS OF CONSTANT ENCOURAGEMENT FROM YOUR OWN SUPPORTERS.
EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE MADE A MISTAKE,BAD PASS, MISSED A SHOT ON THE TARGET, ETC.ETC.

If 'Stuart McCall's Bradford Army' could repeat their MAGNIFICENT SUPPORT, for ALL of the remaining matches(Both HOME and AWAY); we may achieve that 'Play Off' slot!!?.

WELL DONE TO ALL THE REAL SUPPORTERS OF BRADFORD CITY FOOTBALL CLUB!.

I can't wait for this one either. Like Geordie my folks live up there too, and not very far from Shaun at all!! These shuttle buses sound like a cracking idea - I was wondering about the logistics as apparently there are ** all in the way of watering holes near the ground - Tanked up in Darlo and then on to the 96.9 PulseFMTynesideRadio
    TFMReynoldstype Arena.

Don't forget everyone - Make the effort as it's 'Quakers day' - Get all yer banners etc made up. Let's rub Quackerz' face in it up there on Saturday.

I really hope we can take 1,000+ - Show these Darloids who are the real kings of League 2.

looking at the fixture list and knowing that the teams around the fringe areas for promotion tend to freeze up a bit leaving late runners to come into the frame we are not out of the running just yet--a tall order but remember Kamara's team which took us all to Wembley--that one came from a similar position to sneak into the play offs and go from there onward and upward.

So maybe a win on Saturday may just reawaken the dream. I cannot make it Saturday as off to Watford--sorry London for a week end away!
