Three people were being treated in hospital following a serious flat fire in Little Horton in the early hours of the morning.
At 4.39 am fire crews from Bradford and Odsal stations attended a call to Douglas Towers on Radwell Drive.
When they arrived the discovered that a flat on the third floor of the building was ablaze. Firefighters used breathing apparatus, a hose reel and an aerial platform to fight the fire. When they arrived at the third floor they discovered three people asleep in another flat. The three were rescued and transported to Bradford Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and an investigation is underway. The first flat, which was unoccupied at the time, suffered severe damage.
