Yeadon women win trip to Las Vegas

Staff at the same West Yorkshire group of opticians have won two of only six five star trips to Las Vegas in a national competition run by one of the firm’s suppliers.

Lynn Chang, 48, and Jenny Walker, 32, work for the Bayfield & Bartlam Ophthal-mic Group which includes the Kathryn Stott outlet in Yeadon.

They both had winning scratch cards in a promotion run by Essilor, one of the world’s biggest suppliers of spectacle lenses.

Lynn. who works at Kathryn Stott’s in Yeadon, her colleague Helen Hirst and Jenny will stay at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino during the five day trip, which includes a helicopter ride across the Grand Canyon.

Royston Bayfield, managing director of Bayfield & Bartlam,, said it was an amazing success.

He said: “The promotion had six Las Vegas holiday prizes.

“The odds against two people from the same practice winning two of them are staggering.”
