Otley based editorial design company, Words &Pictures, has appointed communications specialist Leah Newby to help progress its education division.

Leah joins from the theatre-based training company CragRats where she spent five years establishing new markets.

At Words&Pictures she will be promoting the ‘total school message’ concept to the education sector as business development manager.

Leah said: “I’ve been closely connected with communicating messages to young people through theatre, interactive workshops and digital media, and this new role is ideal for me to continue in an area I’m passionate about.”

Company MD Tony Layton said: “We’re delighted to have someone of Leah’s calibre joining our education division. We have been helping schools to build their reputations throughout the region for more than ten years. Leah will help to widen both our offer for headteachers and our geographical coverage.”
