Ilkley and Bradford firm's merge

Ilkley-based solicitors Nigel Ward & Co has merged with Bradford firm Read Dunn Connell.

Nigel Ward will take with him a portfolio of clients, including Ilkey residents, businesses and charities.

Mr Ward qualified as a solicitor in 1965 and set up his practice three years later.

He will join Read Dunn Connell at the firm’s office in New Brook Street.

Mr Ward said: “The change made perfect sense. The client base which we have developed over the past 41 years can now benefit from a larger practice.”

Robert Anderson, Read Dunn Connell Managing Partner, said: “We are delighted to welcome Nigel, his employees and his clients. The merger will benefit both parties as Nigel brings with him vast knowledge.”
