Cleckheaton-based international event management agency WorldEvents has opened an office in Zurich, Switzerland.
The company has recruited Uwe Bornemann, an experienced event professional, based in the city to spearhead the company’s growth in Switzerland as well as working closely with the agency’s satellite office in Germany.
Andrew Winterburn, European development director, said: “Uwe is a great addition to our team and will bring a wealth of experience to WorldEvents.”
Before joining WorldEvents, Uwe was one of the directors responsible for Grass Roots office in Zurich and before that he worked for Kuoni Events to develop its business across Europe.
