Paul heads a new tax operation

A top tax specialist with City experience has joined a West Yorkshire accountancy firm to head a new operation advising wealthy clients.

Paul Captieux has been appointed as a new tax partner to head up a team of eight advisers at Clough Taxation Solutions.

The new operation has been launched by accountants Clough and Company, which has offices at Cleckheaton and Keighley, to fill a gap in the market for high level tax advice, identified in feedback from clients.

Paul has joined from KPMG in Leeds where he was a senior tax manager.

He said: “I am delighted to be heading up Clough Taxation Solutions and see this as an opportunity to create a regional tax practice that can rival national firms. This is all the more important given that in recent years many of the local independent firms have been acquired by the national firms.”
