A trainee electrical maintenance engineer has received an apprentice of the year award.
Chris Blahuta, who works at Cold Drawn Products, Cleckheaton, received the award from Dr Ingrid Roscoe, Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, at the presentation held by Brighouse-based Kirkdale Industrial Training Services.
Some 150 certificates and special awards were presented for engineering and motor vehicle apprenticeship achievements.
