Salon gets a makeover

A run-down former barber's shop in Wibsey has been transformed into a "London-style" hair salon.
Brett and Denise Harland, who run db hair and beauty, have invested around £15,000 in expanding their existing business in High Street by knocking through to the old barber's shop next door and doubling the size of their premises.
The move has also created two new jobs at the refurbished salon, which employs five staff. A new sunbed for tanning sessions has been installed.
It has also created more space upstairs for Denise's Diva Kids business which provides birthday make-overs for parties of up to ten girls.
