Textile firm Hainsworth take on export manager

International textile firm Hainsworth has employed Stuart Allen to manage export sales of its protective clothing fabrics as part of a new campaign to support its Ti-technology portfolio of products.

His primary responsibility will be to expand the company’s market share in mainland Europe and North America, where he gained extensive experience in his previous position with specialist leather producer, Pittards.

Charlotte Brandt, sales manager at Hainsworth said: “Our protective fabrics are increasingly the preferred choice for fire-fighting crews and other emergency services worldwide, and we are investing heavily into this area of our business to maximise the opportunities that this brings.

“Stuart’s appointment underpins this focus, and marks a proactive decision to strengthen our presence and relationship network across our foreign markets.
