John Eaglesham has been appointed chief executive of the Bingley-based technology development centre, the Advanced Digital Institute.
He succeeds Ged Powell, who has returned to work in California.
Mr Eaglesham is a former director of engineering at Saltaire-based TV technology company Pace plc and was previously ADI’s chief technology officer.
Dr. Bob Gomersall, ADI chairman, said, “The company is very sorry to see Ged leave and is very grateful for his huge contribution, not only to the organisation, but to the region in general and Airedale in particular.
“We would like to wish him every success for the future and we look forward to an exciting future with John as CEO”
