A Skipton health practitioner is looking to diversify and expand.
Richard Atkinson, a physiotherapist who founded Worth Healing Centre in 1984, has launched a healthcare consultancy to add to the orthodox and complementary health treatments he provides.
He said: “Holistic healthcare is all about promoting optimum wellness to achieve a complete physical, mental and social wellbeing.
“I take into account past health histories and look at ways in which individual people’s systems can be made to work to the best effect.
“We use both orthodox and complementary tailor-made treatments that have been scientifically and clinically tested.
“I am not aware of anyone else in the area offering this sort of approach to the full health picture. It is the next step beyond standard therapies.”
Worth Healing Centre uses acupuncture, homeopathy, electro-therapy and other orthodox and complementary procedures.
