Alison Ender, from Silsden, has become the country’s first travel advice homeworker to win recognition as a specialist agent by top worldwide tour operator Kuoni.

She gained the accolade by hitting her sales targets as well as completing both the Kuoni Diploma and the Xpert training course.

By becoming a specialist agent, she gains access to additional services from Kuoni, including direct and priority access to the trade relations and sales department, ensuring a fast and efficient response to customer queries.

Alison also enjoys a listing on the operator’s specialists’ website, which allows holidaymakers to find their nearest expert.

She said: “I am thrilled to be the first homeworker to achieve this award, which means that my customers can book with confidence knowing that I am officially an expert.

“I pride myself in giving a friendly, unbiased, professional service no matter what their holiday requirements, as well as taking care of all the finishing touches like car parking at the airport, theatre tickets and car hire.”
