A FIRM which provides motoring warranty and insurance products is expanding its Bradford base, having taken on the last three available offices at the business park it moved to in 2001.

Car Care Plan, a leading provider of motoring products such as gap insurance and vehicle warranties, already occupies space within the Mid Point Business and Leisure Park in Thornbury.

But in order to expand its growing business, the firm has purchased three units, a total of 9,000 sq ft of offices, at The Courtyard within the park.

The Courtyard consists of five self-contained open plan office units and the deal takes the scheme to full occupation.

Keyland Developments, the property trading arm of Kelda Group and sister company to Yorkshire Water, is behind the business park.

Ryan Unsworth, development manager of Keyland Developments Ltd, said: “We are pleased to have completed the sale of The Courtyard units to Car Care Plan to enable the business to expand within its existing location.

“The scheme is now fully occupied and this latest sale reinforces the current high demand for well located, modern business accommodation within the Yorkshire region.”

Carter Towler acted on behalf of Keyland.

Its director Richard Fraser added: “Units 2, 3 and 4 were the last three offices available at Mid Point so this has been a very satisfying deal in a number of respects.

“Our client Keyland is pleased that the commitment they made in developing the business park has proven to be so worthwhile.

“The confidence they had in Bradford has been endorsed by leading companies such as Car Care Plan investing here.
