A BRADFORD-based logistics specialist has been shortlisted for a prestigious fashion retail award.

Advanced Supply Chain Group (ASCG), which has its headquarters at the Euroway Trading Estate, off the M606, has been shortlisted in this year’s Drapers Awards in partnership with online retailer ASOS.

The company features in the Best Innovation in Fashion Retail category for its Intelligent Logistics offering.

The award, sponsored by Scotch Corner, sets out to recognise the best implementation of technological innovation that has made a sustainable impact on the operation of its business and the experience of its customers in the past 12 months.

Facing stiff competition from across the UK, the supply chain specialist hopes to secure the award with its Intelligent Logistics approach - an innovative mix of tools, bespoke software, data analytics, process and experience developed by ASCG to enable the business to deliver the most effective, efficient and cutting edge supply chain to their clients.

Mike Danby, Chief Executive Officer of ASCG, said: “Our commitment to technology and innovation has revolutionised the way we work with our customers.

“Put simply, we’ve been able to make processes faster, cheaper and better, and we have only begun to scratch the surface.

“It’s crucial that we continue to think seriously about future innovations and address the challenges and opportunities ahead.

“ASOS is a market leader and together we are proudly setting new standards for the industry.”

Winners will be announced at a ceremony to be held on Thursday, November 30 at the iconic Roundhouse in London.

Mr Danby added: “The standard across these awards demonstrates that the UK is a global heavyweight when it comes to commerce.

“We must continue to make these groundbreaking strides in supply chain systems and capabilities to retain our place internationally.”

Advanced Supply Chain will be up against some strong rivals, including the likes of Rover Island.

ASCG is also a sponsor of the Fashion Retail Business of the Year (£30m-£100m turnover) category.
