SAFESTYLE UK has today reported record sales and profits for last year.

The Bradford-based firm reported a gross profit of £55.6 million for 2016, which was an 11.9 per cent increase on 2015.

It also posted revenue of £163.1m in 2016, an increase of 9.5 per cent on the previous year.

Its volume of frames installed increased by 3.2 per cent to 288,460 in 2016 and had a continued growth share to 10.2 per cent last year.

The firm's pre-tax operating cash flow for 2016 was £21.1m, up from £18.2m in 2015.

Safestyle announced its results this morning for the 12 months leading up to December 31, 2016.

Steve Birmingham, Safestyle UK chief executive, said: "I am delighted to report that Safestyle UK has yet again achieved record sales and profitability in 2016.

"We have continued to execute on our strategy of increasing market share which increased to 10.2 per cent at the year end."
