LEISURE airline Jet2.com is hiring 135 experienced pilots, engineers and aspiring cabin crew at Leeds Bradford Airport as part of a recruitment drive for 1,000 extra staff across the UK.
The move comes as the airline continues to grow. Jet2.com and Jet2holidays recently launched their biggest ever flights and holidays programme for summer 2017 from Leeds Bradford, with more flights and more seats.
Jet2.com has also expanded its flight training centre on Bradford’s Euroway estate which opened in 2014 and is also buying 30 new aircraft.
Steve Heapy, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive, said: “Our family-friendly formula is clearly working with customers and it means that we’re one of the UK’s fastest growing airlines.
“This continuous expansion has opened up a wealth of exciting opportunities for a host of talented pilots, cabin crew and engineers alike. “
The company is holding a recruitment roadshow at Jet2.com’s head office in the Mint, Ingram Street , Leeds. on Friday September 9.
