WELSH fans can get dressed for success to support their football heroes thanks to patriotic suits produced by an Ilkley firm.

Johnny Tuxedo, based in Bolling Road, has seen a surge in sales for its Welsh flag offering after it launched a new service offering bespoke suits with a customised lining made from flags last month.

Dapper customers have snapped up the Welsh flag-designed suits since Chris Coleman's team beat Belgium 3-1 last Friday in the Euro 2016 quarter-final and ahead of their semi-final against Portugal tonight.

Boss Austen Pickles said: "The Welsh flag has out-stripped demand for any other nation and it's no surprise when you think what a wonderful run they have had at the Euros.

"Everyone wants to be Welsh at the moment and support the team in their efforts.

"Why not show that passion when flashing the lining of your tuxedo?"

Meanwhile, Johnny Tuxedo has also seen a glut of orders for the EU flag, but only a dozen for the Union Jack.

Mr Pickles added: "Over the last two weeks we've had orders for the EU flag, the Leicester City emblem as well as Army regiments.

"It's been a phenomenal response. Just a shame our Britannia lining is flagging in comparison."
