LOCAL business success will again be celebrated at the Bradford Means Business Awards 2016.

Companies of all types and sizes, along with individual entrepreneurs ,will have their moment in the spotlight at the awards staged by the Telegraph & Argus, in association with Bradford Chamber of Commerce and Bradford Council.

The awards are open for entries and winners will be revealed at a glittering black tie ceremony at the Aagrah Midpoint Suite at Thornbury on Saturday June 11.

The closing date for entries is THURSDAY MARCH 24 and companies and individuals can enter through the T&A website at: thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/business/business_awards/categories .

Awards categories are: Small or Medium Enterprise of the Year; Manufacturer of the Year; New Business of the Year; Apprentice of the Year; Job Creator of the Year; Business or Technical Innovation of the Year; Retail, Leisure or Hospitality Business of the Year; Business Woman of the Year; Business Personality of the Year and Employer of the Year. The Winner of Winners category will be judged from the winners of each of the other categories.

Several of the awards are being sponsored by leading local businesses, including Malik House Business Centres (New Business of the Year); LCF Law (Small/Medium Enterprise of the Year); Barrett Steel Limited (Manufacturer of the Year); Bradford College (Job Creator of the Year );The Broadway (Business Woman of the Year); Telegraph & Argus (Employer of the Year); Craven College (Apprentice of the Year); Bradford Chamber of Commerce (Business Personality of the Year) and the Kirkgate Centre (Winner of Winners). There is also a category for Business or Technical Innovation of the Year.

Telegraph & Argus readers can once again nominate their favourite for the Retail; Leisure of Hospitality prize and the shortlist for the Employer of the year category will be based on nominations from employees of firms.
