ENGINEERING firm GKN said sales of £1.8 billion for the three months to September 30 were three per cent higher on an organic basis, offset by a £119 million hit from sterling’s strength against most major currencies.
The company, which makes drive shafts for almost half of all new cars, said third quarter trading profit increased to £160m.
