A GROWING company founded in Keighley is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

Fastek Consultancy began in Devonshire Street but moved to its current base at Castlefields Industrial Estate, Crossflatts, in early 2011.

And at the end of last year it acquired an additional unit, doubling its space.

The company’s workforce has expanded from three to 13.

General manager David Green said: “We have grown around three core business areas – the supply and servicing of photocopiers for all business environments and of wide-format printers for the proofing, internal graphics and CAD markets, plus more recently the provision of wide-format eco-solvent printers for the external graphics sector. We also supply inks and media for these machines.

“Especially exciting for us is the development of our own branded range of eco-solvent printers, known as Samsonn Digital, which we launched earlier this year at the NEC in Birmingham.

“This is a major strategic initiative for us, and has yielded great results so far.”

Neil Andrews, a founding director, attributed the company’s success to its ability to adapt to changing markets and exploit fresh opportunities.

He added: “We have a great team here. The talent and commitment of the staff make our company what it is.

“We have a number of exciting plans for the future and are in the process of developing Samsonn Digital into a strong export brand, with the appointment of distributors in Nigeria, Tunisia, Ivory Coast and South Africa.”

The firm – part of the GNP group – is also currently overhauling its website and corporate literature.
