A GROUP of five to-nine year-olds got their first taste of the world of work when they became ‘bosses’ for the day at a Bingley-based office supplies business.
Several children of staff at ACS Business Supplies visited the head office off Warren Lane over two days where they were each interviewed to determine which role within the business was best suited to their skills and personality.
The exercise provided the youngsters with a better understanding of the purpose of work and an insight into the range of career opportunities available.
Harry Stevenson, commercial director, said: “The ACS team also benefited from the experience. Full of bright ideas and a positive attitude, our interns made it a valuable and worthwhile two days.”
