Making sure ‘shop window’ looked right

Specialist support from Bradford Kickstart helped a technology solutions business land sales leads worth around £250,000 at a major NHS exhibition.

Bradford-based Cloud2, specialist implementers of Microsoft SharePoint technology solutions to the NHS, took advantage of Kickstart’s free professional sup-port service to ensure its display at the exhibition at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham delivered results.

Peter Briggs, a business growth adviser with Kickstart partner West Yorkshire Enterprise Agency, recommended Cloud2 to apply for support from the Kickstart professional services scheme.

From an accredited list of local suppliers, the company’s directors, Simon Hudson and Taran Sohal, selected Bingley-based Locallife, an experienced design agency which has supported many Kickstart clients.

The agency’s Howard Martin and his studio colleagues came up with a choice of designs for six exhibition display stands and other promotional materials.

The display attracted NHS professionals to the Cloud2 stand and generated sales enquiries, some of which have been turned into firm orders for time-saving intranet, document-management and performance-scorecard systems for NHS Trusts.
