This category is for businesses with a turnover of less than £1 million which show a strong financial performance, good staff and customer care, demonstrate a real potential for future success, and have had a positive impact on the community.

Our panel will be looking for sound financial performance, of course, but we'll also want to see evidence of positive staff development and the service given to customers. We’ll want to see how the business has developed and what the prognosis is for future success.

And of importance to our panel will be the impact made on the local community, both in terms of job-creation and being a good neighbour.
