Bradford Telegraph and Argus:

Business Personality of the Year

sponsored by Provident Financial Group

THIS is for the person who has demonstrated inspired and inspiring leadership which has made a real contribution to their company and, in doing so, has enhanced the image and reputation of the district as a whole.

The panel will want to find out how this leader motivates and inspires their staff, and will want to see examples of their flair and method for getting things done.

Submissions to this category might include evidence of the company’s success under the nominated person’s leadership, and there could be a discussion of their style of management.

We would also like to see some personal attributes and achievements, and hear about any personal challenges successfully overcome.

Nasser Malik (pictured above left) took last year’s prize.

Nasser runs a group of business centres providing serviced office space, meeting rooms, conference facilities and virtual offices which employs a total of 24 staff.

His centres support new start-ups and help companies expand.

He encourages self-belief in his staff and has supported a number of young people through apprenticeships.

He set up the annual Bradford business conference YEN Expo which has a database of 20,000 members.

His businesses include Malik House Ltd, YEN and Galaxy Ltd.
