Last year’s winners were Edward Street Bakery (pictured above), a Saltaire-based business run by owner Lisa Fraser.

With a friendly, uplifting vibe, this craft bakery supplies establishments throughout the area, takes stalls at local food markets and runs pop-ups from time to time selling directly to loyal customers.

The company regularly gives back to the community by supporting charity events, most recently Bliss’s work at Airedale General Hospital’s neonatal unit.

Don’t let its diminutive size fool you, however, as the bakery has already gathered a faithful following.
