DO you think your company deserves to be in the running for a Bradford Means Business Award 2016?

Here’s how to get involved.

In the first instance, we’d like you to spend some time perusing this supplement and the 11 distinct categories to make sure you or your company is entering the right one.

Enter the Bradford Means Business Awards 2016

There are categories to suit pretty much every firm or entrepreneur.

Additionally, there are some categories for individuals which we are pleased to take nominations from for people who think they fit the bill, but we are also happy for others to nominate in this category, because we know that some people like to hide their light under a bushel!

There are also two categories for the general public to nominate in - the Retail, Leisure and Hospitality and the Employer of the Year awards.

We’ll be printing coupons for people to nominate their choices for these in the T&A soon.

The awards will culminate in a glittering night on Saturday, June 11, which will be held at the Aagrah Midpoint Suite in Thornbury.

Before that, though, there’s a lot of work to be done, and it’s vital that you get your entries and nominations in to fit the following timetable.

Our partners at the Bradford Chamber of Commerce will be assembling a judging panel to look at every entry that comes in.

As you’ll see from the individual category pages, the preferred method of entry is online at our website, telegraphandargus.co.uk/bradfordmeansbusiness.

Each category has its own section on the website and each award has its own dedicated entry form.

This is so that we can gather all the relevant information in one go without having to go back to entrants a second time - though we may come back to you if we want further information down the line.

If you think you’re eligible to enter more than one category, you will have to fill in a form for each award.

We reserve the right to move entrants to different categories if we think they fulfil the criteria for other awards better than the one they’ve entered.

The deadline for all entries is THURSDAY, MARCH 24, but please don’t leave it until the last minute to enter! The earlier you get your entries in, the more time we’ll have to consider your information, get back to you if we need more, and ensure you’re in the right category.

After this date the panel will convene and sort through all the entries, and will draw up a shortlist of three finalists in each category, which will be announced nearer the date of the awards ceremony, when shortlisted entrants will be contacted.

Then it’s just the wait for the nailbiting final on June 13, when the winners will be announced.

We’ll be looking to focus on some of the entries in the coming weeks, so have a good look at the supplement and then make your way to telegraphandargus.co.uk/bradfordmeansbusiness to get going.
