KIERAN HEPTONSTALL
KIERAN left Bradford Academy in July 2016 and enrolled on a full-time joinery course at Bradford College.
A trial period was organised with Brownberry Projects, now NDW Limited, and owner Nick Wainwright was so impressed he offered Kieran an apprenticeship.
Living in Holme Wood, he has had to set off at 5.30am each day to cycle to work at Apperley Bridge.
He has been described as an asset to the company and turns up at work on time and in all weathers.
He hopes to inherit his boss’s old van when he passes his driving test.
MOHAMMAD HAROON KHAN
MOHAMMAD began his mechanic apprenticeship with Hammerton Autos, in Hammerton Street, Bradford, in May 2014 studying level two Motor Vehicle with a view to progressing to level three.
He passed all five technical examinations with distinction and carried on that trend to level three to pass his first two exams, also with distinction.
At Bradford College he is always ready to help his peers, works to a high standard and always has a positive attitude to work and study.
RYAN AVEYARD
RYAN has completed his level two heavy vehicle course at Bradford College and progressed to completing his level three well ahead of the scheduled end date.
He is apprentice at gritting company JW Crowther, in Gildersome, and has become a valued member of the workforce.
He is confident to represent the company on external visits or should any issues occur while vehicles are out on business.
He also attends company business which involves him being away from the main depot.
